About Expression of Catharsis: Welcome! This blog contains only my articles and is my personal expression. Here I will write about everything I love, everything I hate, everything that worries me, saddens me, scares me, angers me, excites me, and motivates me. It’s a space to let it all out, to put my thoughts and feelings into words, and hopefully, through this process, find some understanding, some peace, and of course, find the catharsis.
First things first…
I’m Lavéina. Yeah, it’s a pseudonym, but it’s still me. As a lifelong learner with a passion for reading, writing, and meaningful discussions, I have little patience for small talk and no interest in people-pleasing. Instead, I truly enjoy exploring topics that truly matter to me— from politics to literature, movies, and TV shows. I’m passionate about analysing what’s happening in the world around us.
I’m a die-hard Harry Potter fan and by that I mean the books, not the movies. I love poetry, rules, routine, story structure, character-driven stories, and learning new things. I am fluent in three languages and I want (#hope) to expand my linguistic horizons even further.
Perspectives, Passions & Views
The core.
Anything taken to its extreme can end up very toxic— I strongly believe that. Therefore, I’m neither conservative nor liberal, and I don’t have to call myself either.
Anti-communist and a Zionist? YES. I also despise racism, homophobia, and I passionately despise wokeness, too.
No, males do NOT belong in women’s sports and yes, biological sex is real. There’s no such thing as ‘non-binary’ and ‘pronouns’ are idiotic and a very strong sign of narcissism.
As a survivor of narcissistic abuse I strongly believe that narcissism, sociopathy and the lack of emotional empathy and conscience, are the roots of every evil that exists in the world.
The choice & Reason
Equally important, I used to be a feminist, but since narcissists have corrupted the term, I now identify as an egalitarian. Meaning: I believe in equality; men and women are equals. I despise misogynists as much as I despise misandrists. Men can be victims of abuse too, and this subject needs to be taken much more seriously.
Definitely pro-choice, as I believe in the power of choice, and it’s none of my business what women choose to do with their bodies. I support women choosing single motherhood if they want to, and I also have strong respect for single fathers.
Responsibility & Catharsis.
I was raised as a Christian, but for the last five years, I have been an atheist. However, please make no mistake, I prefer to have a meaningful conversation with an open-minded theist who isn’t an extremist and is actually able to understand the toxicity and insanity of the wokeness, instead of trying to reason with a “woke atheist” who found a new dogma and is incapable to self reflect and realise it. It’s true that NOT all religions are the same, and I have immense respect for all the ex-Muslims out there.
Ultimately, I firmly believe in the transformative power of expression, in free speech and in the responsibility of self-improvement.
